Mr Pink

I also agree. Yes you said something and hopefully you are feeling better yourself. They are supposed to be professional people providing a service that you are paying for. They should understand that animals do actually make noise especially if they are stressed. Anyway I hope you are both feeling better.

Well, that's interesting isn't it? Maybe it speaks for itself!
Just to go somewhat off topic for a moment, it's struck me that we don't seem to have heard from Natalie for a while and I'm just starting to worry a little given the situation when we last did. Unless anyone has seen something somewhere that I haven't looked?

He now has a pirate Duct tape modifications not subtle but very jolly.
Ah yes, the duct tape modifications. Know it well. All good until pooch realizes duct tape is fun to remove from the cone.

Next step is the two-cone method, where one is always under repair while the other one is worn. |(

After that comes this: :hungover:

He jumped from one end of the living room onto the sofa. It's about 8 foot silly devil.
I felt so sorry for him I let him just destroy old toys this afternoon
Oops Rory, not good for your foot! But it might be a sign that he is feeling better

I hope @Natalie is ok too

@SwampDonkey I think you absolutely deserve an explanation from your vet's practice. Unless there's something major you're not telling us (which I don't think there is), there was absolutely no reason for the staff to treat you like that. I would be inclined to take my money elsewhere, but I'd be sure to make them know why, first. I'll never understand a business's mentality - people talk, especially when they've had a negative experience. I've boycotted businesses because of a friend's bad experience, not even my own! If they apologise to you then yeah, you might still leave, but you might not bad mouth them to every other pet owner. But if they don't apologise then you're more likely to salt the earth/burn it with fire. I'm sure this is business101.

So upset I could cry Rory's started to vomit and have the squirts.its probably the anti inflammatorys. I had to ring the vets and spoken to the nurse. She is speaking the vet. I just hope they don't expect me to go in tomorrow because I'm not. I'm in hospital tomorrow most of the day . I will pick up alternative anti biotics if necessary, but I don't think its them that are making him sick.

Oh @SwampDonkey This is awful, I am so sorry you are going through this with poor lovely Rory when you have your health issues to deal with. Take a deep breath and wait to hear from the vet as it might not come to another visit. What do you think could be making him vomit? If he does need another visit maybe there is someone else that could take Rory for you? Please take care of yourselves. xxx :hug:

I think the anti inflammatorys have set his colitis off. There is no one else that could take him.Rorys had enough stress at the vets this week I'm not going to drag him in just to get some different anti biotics that's silly. His foots healing and I don't want to disrupt that. So we'll see.

@SwampDonkey I'm so sorry It’s taken a rough turn, I guess you’re experienced at dealing with Rory’s colitis so hopefully it can be managed whilst he’s in all this turmoil, poor feller x

They want me to discontinue the anti inflammatory drugs and ring if he's no better. I told them that I won't give him the anti biotics until Saturday to give his tummy a break but will take him in on me monday for a wound check as planned. She was very apologetic and nice. I told her the wound us great and healing well. Looking at it it's hard to believe his foot pad and toe have been opened up it looks good
