I’ve booked him in for the 10th recovery day to have his sutures removed, so 6 more nights to go, but who’s counting. I just hope they will be ready to be removed and not taken out prematurely. But I’m sure they will know if it will be too soon!

Pros and cons I suppose! Hugo is less careful now and tries to plow through everything, my legs included :facepalm: but it’s nice to see him more himself so I’ll take it!

No, they didn’t mention anything. I was told because it was so small they really didn’t want to fiddle with it, so just need to wait it out. I’m not very patient if I’m being honest 😂

He’s been playing with his toys and Gizmo, so that’s a positive sign he’s adjusting to being a satellite dish 📡 They said stitches to come out in 10-14 days. Hoping it can be done on day 10… I always worry about stitches coming out too soon and the wound reopening but I’ll trust her judgement

Hugo’s weird lump flared up again. It’s so strange how it keeps crusting over, then looks like it’s improving, only to start the cycle all over again. He’s going in tomorrow morning to have it removed so we can finally figure out what it is—and hopefully let it heal for good. Lots of lambies...
