Does anyone know if dogs testicles get bigger at different times of the the year? I can vaguely remember that they can vary in size. Ivers are absolutely massive at the moment think space hoppers and I don't remember them being so huge. Has anyone else noticed this in their boys boys?

I honestly don't know, have never heard of it before. I would phone the vet for advice in case there is an infection.

Snowie’s changed size from time to time. Sometimes seemed very tight in their skin. I wonder whether it had anything to do with his enlarged prostate? Apparently the prostate can enlarge when encountering a bitch in season, but I don’t know about balls. They’ve completely shrunken now with the Suprelorin implant.

Well, that’s good he isn’t uncomfortable/in pain! Interesting though. I’ll have to pay attention to Hugo’s little boys. They are so little compared to Axel’s that I often forget he has them
I don't remember them changing in size - other than the shrinkage that happened with poor Merlin before he had to be castrated.

Like humans, dog testicles shift around slightly with hormones, tension and environmental conditions like heat and humidity. Kipper’s shift slightly depending on time of day, whether he’s had a poo, and body temperature makes the most difference. But I wouldn’t say any changes are more than a 5% shift in their usual state - if you really think Iver’s are significantly different, I’d definitely have them checked out as they’re a strong indicator of other issues and it could be that he’s in pain.
