We have taught Maxx to go and find his black Kong bone when it is time for a denta stick or liver treat or a chunk of carrot. We say 'fetch your bone' and off he trots to find it.
We recently bought a new Kong bone as the old one was worn and it was too easy for him to extract the treat. Today it was lunch liver treat time so Steve said 'fetch your bone'. His new bone right next to him so he picked it up, took it outside, dumped it next to his old one and brought the old one inside! Obviously he enjoys getting the treat more quickly!
Sometimes it is spooky how clever they are
