Snowie turned 13! I thought his birthday was today. But his breeder reminded me it was actually on the 11 Jan!
Nevertheless we did a lovely walk in a dog friendly park this morning. And this afternoon we’re going for a walk in the forest. Yesterday we went to the market, which he absolutely loved. Packed full of people (literally have to shuffle your way through the hoardes of tourists) and lots of friendly dogs—he was in his element. So it was a great birthday!
Here he is earlier this week in his new shoes! He is now trotting on his walks, they are a game changer! Last week in the forest, a man noticed Snowie’s socks and said he had shoes if I wanted them. His Labrador had passed away. Wish I’d bought shoes for Snowie years ago, but I could never find ones big enough.

Afternoon siesta right now! Thankfully his fur is growing back since that terrible allergic reaction. He’s now on hypoallergenic food plus frequent antifungal baths (every 3-4 days) plus too many other meds and lotions and potions to write about!

His brother sadly passed away last week. Although thankfully in his sleep. He had heart problems. So Snowie is the last remaining of his litter. Other than his skin issues, he’s doing well. Can still jump onto the furniture. And he’s very cheerful at the moment, which is so lovely.
