Northumberland

We are looking for a dog friendly holiday cottage with parking well appointed etc in the Northumberland area. Any ideas? We don't mind city coast or village.

Apart from the beaches, any tips on dog friendly things to do in Northumberland?

Having a short break in a few weeks time.
May be just a case of coorie-ing next to the stove with plenty of gin, but if it's nice, hints and tips welcome.

I have always wanted to visit Lindisfarne (much more romantic sounding than Holy Isle/Island) and been inspired to resurrect this thanks to @Lisa

We stayed in Beadnell Bay two years ago. I posted on here with photos but not sure where as it was before van. We got a boat from Seahouses to Lindisfarne and spent a few hours on the island. It’s magical. Red was scared of the boat on the way there but okay coming back. We visited Dunstanburgh Castle too which was very good. I know you didn’t ask about beaches but Bamburgh beach and Beadnell Bay are great beaches. We found Northumberland very dog friendly. Hope you are luckier with the weather - it was grim when we were there but it didn’t stop us from taking in the absolute beauty of Northumberland
