Primrose Puppy Log

Following in @Natalie footsteps, starting a new thread to document/troubleshoot progress and training now that Primrose has been with us for a full week!
Today is day 1 of implementing a schedule for daytime crating - she has already settled for her morning nap in there. I’ve spent the past week building up positive association and she runs to her crate for treats/meals/new toys.
We have started cues for “off” (jumping on table/dishwasher etc) and “leave it” (eating stones, branches, chewing and biting). She’s so food motivated she’s already doing really well, though I suspect she repeatedly jumps on the dishwasher to get another treat!
I can see she is starting to thin out slightly- 18lbs at 9 weeks.

Primrose doesn't know what's exciting, she just wants wants to be included
Yes and she will learn from Quinn. Sky was an excellent teacher to Red once she had accepted her. There have been many things that we never had to ‘train’ Red because Sky just set the example e.g not going upstairs, not touching anything that doesn’t belong to her, settling nicely at mealtimes, not jumping up or taking food etc etc

I hope that's the case over time - Quinn is very polite and wouldn't touch a thing on a table and this little devil is already trying to counter surf (even though she's had nothing but kibble), grabs things on any reachable surface and has figured out how to open our kitchen cabinets!
