Just heard that I have passed my assessment and been offered full membership of the IMDT. I'm really delighted! Apparently I have to wait for December to have my assessemnt acredited by the OCN in order to get my level 3 certificate as well.
Gosh, I'll have to decide what I'm going to actually do now...

As I'm retired I just really want a hobby that pays for itself (so covering costs in terms of transport, insurance, venue hire etc.) I think I'll get some insurance quotes and set up a facebook page, perhaps put some cards in shop windows locally for 1:1 training, and see if there are any halls to rent near me. There is the fab barn I go to sometimes which is only £10 an hour to hire but that's 40 minutes drive away and I'd like to be nearer home.

I need a business name. I fancied 'Happy Dogs' but that is used already by a number of businesses.
Any ideas anyone?

Well done Joy, how nice to retire and be able to do something that you love, and that pays too.

It took me a year to settle on a business name because every time I thought of something and googled it - it already existed!

How about Happy Hounds?
