Sore Paw

Well I can’t fault the vet service she’s just got back to me the results are in. It’s a histocytoma. Hurrah!!!
From google:
dog histiocytoma is a common, benign (non-cancerous) skin tumor, often appearing as a sudden, hairless, red or pink lump, especially on young dogs (under 3 years) on their head, ears, or legs, which typically disappears on its own within a few months without treatment

Bella is nearly 7y
I just have to keep an eye on it and get back to them if there are any changes
Best outcome I’m so relieved.
Thank you to everyone who sent lambies they worked 😘

Here we are 3 weeks later.
Sore spot has shrunk and no longer bleeds. No sign of infection but it’s taking an age to heal.
What a palaver. The vet says to keep it dry, think she was having a laugh.
I have 2 sets of dog boots that’s 8 boots all supposed to be waterproof, they are not. Every morning the clinic(kitchen) opens. Remove overnight soft sock and don plastic bag and then boot. When home from her walk, bathe foot in salt water, dry with kitchen roll and apply waterproof film dressing, soft pad and inside socks. Repeat performance for the afternoon walk. Night time garden visit I just put a plastic bag over her sock and keep fingers crossed it stays on.
I’m quite worried about her mental state, she quakes when I go near her and won’t voluntarily come near me unless I’m offering food.
I hope when this is all over she forgives me.
