First Merlin's leg, then Harley's heart and now Ella's stomach
In a madhouse moment when we were cleaning up after dinner last night (Nathan decided to use his toothbrush to scoop the gel disc from the toilet bowl) Ella took the opportunity to grab a small section of corn cob from the bin (about 1/5th of a full cob). She crunched it up and ate most of it before I could get back to her.
In the night at about 1am she threw up (and ate it again). This didn't particularly surprise me as she tends to do this if she has anything out of the ordinary to eat for dinner. Today she's been bright, bouncy, eating and drinking and toileting as usual but... She's thrown up (and eaten it) twice more. I spoke to the vet and I had a good feel of her belly (nice and soft and no obvious discomfort) so for now, we're on a watch an wait.
Looks like I'm not getting any sleep tonight
