Molly's an aunt

Molly's twin Elkie gave birth this morning to 8 littl'uns, 2 black and 6 yellow.

Obviously, being Molly's twin Elkie is a choccy. The dog was a fox red. Fascinating how the colours work out isn't it? I'm a tinzy disappointed there is no chocolate but nonetheless, its lovely to know they have all arrived safely, are all suckling and seem to be fine.

Well done Elkie :celebrate::happyfeet:

Ella's littermate has had a couple of litters in the last couple of years. Thankfully she lives in Qld now so there wasn't an opportunity for me to visit. I really don't have the room for another dog!

Hypothetically though @FayRose would you be thinking black or yellow? Boy or Girl?
If, and I emphasise IF because HWMBO has already put his foot down with a firm hand (ahem) I would prefer a yellow girl. Having found Molly so very different to the boys we have always had before, I would certainly go for a girl again.

The reason we chose Molly in the first place was because being a girl and choc I wouldn't keep comparing her to our old BJ, who was the joy of my life, though as a youngster my god was he a handful. He was also far larger than Molly.

Anyway, you didn't ask for all this, so, yep, a little yellow girl appeals very much - in my fantasy life :mmm:
