I finally made Stilton a stocking last month, so now both boys have a Christmas stocking - they each have a Kong gyro toy (they shared an old one that was very well chewed), and a soft toy each; Stilton has a squirrel which is squeaker free so might last a bit longer, and Kipper has a red panda...

Yes there is! And it’s quite a surprise if you haven’t experienced it before isn’t it? We’ve had this with Stilton, and man he was a chewer - whereas Kipper (on reflection) was very light. It went on longer for Stilton because he then developed ear problems, so I’d assume for normal development...

The shooting in Bondi is horrendous (BBC link), I’m so sorry this terrorist attack has taken so many lives and affected so many more. The man who disarmed one of the terrorists was incredibly brave, as were the first responders. Sending you all solidarity in the coming days and months.

Its brutal that darling Snowie is fit in so many ways but the itching is clearly very tough to experience, and manage, and witness. I’m so sorry Snowie is going through this, my heart goes out to you all.

This is a good idea - a tiny adaptation I’ve made in the past is to put gel/cream on a finger which you then wipe into the corner of the eye before gently massaging the closed eyelid to distribute. Kipper found this far less objectionable than other options.

This is excellent @JES72 , and speaks beautifully to both Stanley’s self confidence (hooray!) and to your super relationship that you’ve built and reinforce; the way he came to you as his safe place when there was a bit of tension going on is just great. Well done.
