    I feel awful

I was referring to physical, mainly. The doc on call (another friend/acquaintance of ours, lol the benefits of small town life) did phone a plastic surgeon in a larger center 2 hours away to get his opinion on whether or not Valera should go there to be seen and stitched or whether he (the local...

    I feel awful

Thanks all. Can’t say I feel much better this morning. Just wretched, really. Part of it is that we know better. We do have “rules” so to speak, for visitors. Normally we have Simba on his bed when we are eating dinner, or when friends are over, and don’t allow him to be quite so close and...

    I feel awful

I ended up going to the hospital as I couldn’t stand it any longer. We were there for a couple more hours. He decided to get stitched up there. About 20 stitches. It’s so awful. Just want to crawl under a rock. Do I have a dangerous dog? That’s what I have to wrestle with now. I know this...

    I feel awful

I decided to join OH at the hospital because he had left his phone at home and I figured he might need it. Also couldn’t stand waiting at home. Valera is in with the doc. I think they are looking at whether to stitch him up here or take him to a bigger center for a plastic surgeon to look at...

    I feel awful

I tried calling my daughter but she must be out. Sigh. I’m ok. Thanks for being here to hold my hand. But it must be awfully late/early there?

    I feel awful

They have just got to the hospital so still waiting to hear. It’s really our fault. Should have been quicker on saying “Don’t do that!” I thought he was just petting him but he did have his arm around Simba, too, which I should have also said not to do that. We were sitting at the table, Simba...

    I feel awful

Once again, Simba has bitten someone. Once again, not entirely his fault. But I feel horrible. Awful. We had a friend for supper. He is a Ukrainian refugee. He was petting Simba after dinner. He leaned down and started to blow in his face, don’t know why? I was about to say “That’s not a good...

    Mice!

I’m not scared of mice, but I just can’t even with them in the house. I don’t know if hanta virus is a thing in Europe but it’s definitely a risk to humans here so I just couldn’t handle them in the house.

    Trixie

It’s hard when you have to restrict them! I hope she heals quickly with no issues.

    Unwell again

It is easy to start micro-managing! Sometimes all the switching of foods can prolong the issue, too. Especially when they are young. But I do understand the anxiety after a bad bout! Perhaps just stick with the food that hasn’t been causing problems for treats and dinners, and see how he does.

    Mice!

Ugh! In your bed??? :veryconfused: Surprisingly I’ve never had a mouse in my house. I’m not sure why as we are close to rural areas but there are also cats that roam the neighbourhood so perhaps that is why. My daughter gets mice occasionally in our city condo. Peanut butter in the traps works...
