We had pizza tonight with a lovely crisp cheesy crust. We let Holly have a few bits of crust. Now she’s lying in the kitchen with her nose hoovering up every last atom of pizza smell.

My new slippers arrived this morning. Holly and I did a training session with the new slippers and a generous pile of treats. She now knows what they look like and has fetched them from all the usual hiding places.

Holly is very confused. When I come home she always fetches my slippers. Its a game we play which always involves a few treats and tickles, so she really enjoys it. Yesterday one of my slippers split so I had to throw them out. We just got home from a walk and she went looking for my slippers...

This morning we met a Chihuahua puppy in the local park. It was on its first ever walk after its jabs. He wanted to sniff everything and say hello to everyone. He was so cute even Holly said hello to him!

It would clearly be very wrong to suggest carrying weapons. I would just comment that getting hand cleaner spray in your eyes is very painful.

I bought a bread machine a few months back - my first kitchen appliance! I've been having some fun during lockdown making different types of bread. It makes a nice change from shop-bought loaves. Holly has realised that I always start with the dry ingredients so she waits until I'm weighing...

I think it would be her soulful, expressive eyes.

Basically, her drive includes anything food or non-food that can be ingested. She's a true Lab :smiledog: .
