It’s a good thought, and one I’ve mulled - I only know two boxers, and they’re both reactive. It’s not the most common breed round here, so I’ll keep an eye out for well adjusted looking fellows and see if we can set up a comfortable meeting.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the messages! I’m working through the stress response with occasional tears, and Kipper is a blooming Trojan - we did another village walk this morning (he’s had a stiff back so we’re taking it gently and doing minimal car ramp activity) and he trotted along...

I haven’t observed this with Kipper (who’s on Librela) - he’s has disrupted sleep, with low sleep latency and frequent waking - but we identified this as probably down to memantine, and it’s effectively stopped since he came off it. I wonder if she’s more vigorous in her dreams as she’s feeling...
