That's annoying. I shan't renew my membership - I'd rather donate to another dog charity. It's irritating as members were assured the insurance cover would continue when all the changes were made to dogs Trust. I think it's now being run more as a business.

I think training loose lead walking is actually harder than training a more formal heel. With Molly I cheated and drove to off lead areas so she could have a run first and then put the lead on for very short training sessions. With Rajah (the Goldie I borrow) I had to walk from his house...

Tess really does seem to enjoy the activity, rather than just doing it for the reward at the end. She's half Collie so that probably accounts for it!

@Stacia It was a bit trickier to read the signs this time because the wind kept blowing them over!

I entered Rallyonline with Tess for the first time in 2 years and we were awarded 2nd place with a score of 207. In real life shows Tess is further on but in online she is still at Level 2, hence on lead (because we haven't competed enough - too difficult to dragoon anyone into videoing us!)...

Thanks for asking @MellowYellow . She's still very well - pottering about, going up and down stairs frequently (which also means she can access our back garden again) and enjoying her life, albeit at a slow pace. She even occasionally gets a soft toy out to carry around or chew. So at the moment...
