Nelly had the best years of her life with you and knew love and happiness, which she had lacked before. I have thought of Reuben and how he must be feeling, perhaps a beach meeting with Sn Carbon would help xx
The bravest and most characterful little dog that ever lived, she has been known in four corners of the world and will never be forgotten. It must have been heartbreaking for you, but she knew you were there for her.
Oh Kate, how very sad, I feel very tearful thinking what you are having to go through. Of course Nelly won't think you are the worst person on earth and neither will any of us. You are the bravest person to release Nelly from pain.
Flicka is the worst dog I have had, and she is my ninth dog! I tell myself it is the Spaniel in her. So I was comforted to read that others are having or had, problems with heel walking.
My GSPs only wore collars when we went out, but a vet who was a friend I walked with, said they should wear collars when at home in case they accidentally got out. I suppose these days they can be scanned.
My dogs have the same collar all their lives! Flicka had one which I bought when she came to me 18 months ago and I am ashamed to say I haven't washed it yet!
So pleased that Tuppy seemed bright after her dental and keen to eat. When the teeth are cleaned or extracted the vet always said the dog would be a new animal as no more toxins circulating.
