I know sheep and rabbits can get fly strikes and maggots, never heard of it in dogs before. Poor Molly, all should be well now after treatment.

Sounds a mutual bug but relieved to read it was relatively short lived, as it appears to be improving. I hope they both are feeling so much better, horrid to have an upset and painful stomach.

Sounds so interesting and a nursing course would be great. Vet nurses have more roles these days so who knows where it may lead xx

@Cath, those cooling coats look good, what make? I have one from a well known dog site, but not that pleased with it.

I am sitting in the garden! Down one side of the house which has no sun and a little breeze, still terribly hot thought. The fan in the house is not making any difference. Poor Flicka is so hot.

@Candy, looks as if you do have a lovely shady area. I expect the hot nine year old will seek it soon :sun:
