Awwwwwwwwwwwww - thank you, and those are brilliant photos! We are putting together a memory / story book of him and I'd like to steal these if possible. He loved his Severnside Walkies, and he would be particularly proud of that shot with him caked in mud....

I haven't been on the forum much in the last few years, but I'm back now to share some sad news with the people that Pongo and I shared many, many happy times with. For the last few weeks, Pongo has been having trouble pee-ing. There wasn't an obvious cause, despite scans and X-rays, and...

So true! And perhaps the sig line knows better. It means: "assistance dog, i.e. assisting in the training of the human race to dispense cookies at a more appropriate rate." Pongo would approve.

Pongo hasn't been on the forum much for a while, and in the meantime has acquired several partners-in-crime (also known as "mum and dad's grandchildren"). He thinks he can blend in at dinnertime, and is hoping eventually for a plate of his own. He lets them do the hard work of begging.

Pongo was completely overwhelmed with love for his dear, dear amigo Carbon. Since waving goodbye he has been asleep and snoring - absolutely dead to the world... ;-)

So sorry to hear this, Phil. Holly is the luckiest of pups to have you and Ruth to make every day for her the best it can be. No pain, and no fear - that is a good combination that is perhaps the best that any of us could ever wish for. May she have as many days as possible just like that...
