A lovely, if bracing walk with Emily and Carbon

The weather wasnt so grand but we had a nice wander around on an almost empty beach, just a few stalwarts with their dogs and us plus the odd family who looked perished ! Reuben and Carbon had a good old chase around , after Reuben had mugged his " auntie " Emily who he adores , but after this he was pretty damned good , with a really smashing recall too . Sad to say goodbye to @Emily_Babbelhund , we have both enjoyed seeing her a lot on this visit , plus Carbon of course who is way more sensible than Reuben , we will get there in a few years But all in all , the Reubs was pretty good , Nelly stayed with her Dad, sharing a sandwich and having a little potter around , a nice morning x

Thank you for making the treat over, Kate. After three and a half months here, it's going to seem very odd (and more than a little sad) knowing that you and Paul are further away than just down the road. Our near-weekly get-togethers have really been a highlight of my stay here and I'm going to miss both of you.

But it's not "Adios" just "Hasta luego" as I'll be back before we know it and harassing you and Paul in the new year.

Carbon has come on leaps and bounds , thank to the dedication of @Emily_Babbelhund , he is more relaxed and obviously loving life x
Reuben adores Carbon , he began to make little crying noises when we pulled into the beach car park , then went crackers when he saw his hero ! He does get a little boisterous in his play at the start but calms down , eventually x
