A visit to Rourke.

Cassie and I have been out for the afternoon and visited gentleman Rourke and @Jelinga. It was a beautiful May afternoon and we enjoyed a truly lovely walk together in the pretty Worcestershire countryside surrounding Jelinga's home. Rourke was very good I thought on his lead, while Cassie investigated all the smells and scents in a new place having a great time, and becoming a little intoxicated with it all towards the end. She met and interacted with a rather handsome yellow lab called Alfie (I think), being humped for the first time in her life!

I forgot to take my phone on the walk, but here are a couple of photo's from when we got back.

Well he couldn't play really, on his lead! I had to do a bit of protection work to prevent Cassie leaping on him. She kept doing zoomies with excitement, and had a couple of fizzball headbursts, but Rourke was very gracious, as ever the gentleman.
Cass sends kisses to Besito boy. Would it comfort Carbon to know that his is the only willy Cass has ever licked?

When Selina And Cassie got out of the car and I opened the front door, Rourke dragged me across the lawn to say hello! The have met a couple of times but a longish time ago, but he knew who she was and was delighted to give her a kiss.

Poor Rourke is depressed, his best friend the Greyhound George suddenly died about ten days ago, George's owner is in hospital having her stoma reversed, so Rourke feels bereft. Seeing Selina And Cassie did a lot to cheer him up, but I felt so sad for him that he had to lead walk, while Cassie did all the wonderful sniffing and exploring things that Rourke would normally do on that walk, but nevertheless we both felt much happier having Selina and Cassie's company, cheered me up as well :happy: Thank you for coming Helen xx
