I loved reading about this as in the UK the top winners are always Collies. 2nd and 3rd places were Golden Retrievers!
The other great thing is that Petra Ford is completely force-free. I've done several of her on-line courses and am full of admiration for her.

Labrador Retriever 'Zesty' Wins 2025 National Obedience Championship
Over 137 dog and handler teams competed in the 2025 AKC National Obedience Championship at Purina Farms in Missouri, but only one was the overall Champion.
