Bee Sting!

We have had a little adventure today!!
This morning I went to meet up and go for a socially-distanced walk with my friend who is due her baby in a month. I took Oreo and Ghillie with me (Lilly got a walk before I left).
Near the end of the walk, Ghillie suddenly yelped and was frantically running in circles, and nibbling at his leg. Yep.... he had been stung

Long story short, I popped into work on my way home and I removed a stinger from him... he went in the huff with me, so I bought him a toy on the way home for being such a brave boy

Ghillie has such a sweet face. Nice work on the sting removal, glad it didn't cause much difficulty.

It's almost like a right of passage I think, for puppies, getting bee/wasp stings!

Definately the boys know wasps are nasty. I suspect both have been stung. They were fine. But Moo oh moo had to be rushed to the vets she had such a bad reaction

I love the name Ghillie and he didn't resource guard his new toy, or was it just food?

It is mostly towards other dogs. He is fine with toys and humans and sometimes dogs, but mostly it is food. He doesn’t like another dog near him while he’s eating. He also will growl if another dog comes near him when he has found something tasty in the field (rabbit poo mostly)!

Good work @Sophiedoodle , it must have been quite hard to find the sting. I think Maisy was stung by a wasp as a pup but not entirely sure, she was nibbling at the spot and went a bit docile but otherwise ok.

She has had one of those toys too - I think the legs are still in the toybox, or one of them
