Bladder stones?

Daisy cat did, and is presented like a UTI - frequent small pees wherever she happened to be standing. It was treated like a UTI initially, but when it didn't clear with antibiotics we got an ultrasound which showed a honking great stone. We treated that with a special food (apparently there are two types of stones and one can be broken down with a specific food, so given her age we tried that first). After one month the stone had barely shrunk so she had it surgically removed.

I would say recurrent urine infections and possibly blood in urine too (without necessarily infection).
Don't think it would cause willy problems unless licking is from a kind of referred pain thing.

His urine is clear no blood no infection prostate fine just odd days of a bit of Willie drip and licking. Fine all weekend then drips and Willie licking for about 20mins. Vet said keep an eye on it hes fine again now. Just wants to lick my feet now

Sounds more like an infection of the urinary tract or of the penis itself. Or could it be irritation caused by the excitement of a bitch in heat? Hope it sorts itself soon x

They've checked for infection, and a few other things. He's fine again now, jumping in the river seemed to help. Something is definitely irritating his Willie I just have to see.

I'm having some concerns about that myself with Carbon and gave the vet his urine sample before she went off for the holiday. We'll get the results on Monday. I'd told her he was having monumentally long and dribbly wees, so based on that symptom she was concerned. He takes alopurinol, though, so he has a higher chance of getting bladder stuff. No willie licking like Rory, though - Carbon doesn't seem to realise he even has one. :sneaky:
