I know, I'm getting like that too, it's so frustrating. I find that the foot/sole part is good but the ankle/shin is uncomfortable. Or vice versa :donttalk:

I don't think it would work I'm in my boots up to 3 hours a day the socks are expensive and would not last very long. The boots would be less supportive squishy and rot.

I’ve bought my mum some Joules Wellibobs because they had the best sole of that type of thing; mainly bought them for garden dashes with the puppy but surprisingly she wears them on all walks and says they’re really comfy and robust. Might be worth a look @SwampDonkey ?

No because the sole is no good and they are too long. They have to do 6 to 8 miles a day and can't be too heavy or long as I can send not cope with short boots due to anaemia

I'm with @Sophiedoodle on Aigles. The sole depends on what style you get: there are higher end and lower end. I forked out what to me at the time seemed an obscene amount of money for rubber boots, but man, are they worth it. I can walk for hours in them and my feet don't get sore. The only other pair of shoes I can do that in are my trail runners that have a ton of support.

The circulation and feeling is all messed up in my feet due to chemo and surgery, so my feet are tricky too. Plus my calves are enormous, so most tall boots don't work on me. These are plenty big.

I wore them every day for probably two months last year and now just the last couple of weeks, so not much mileage on them yet. But so far look and feel like new. I really go into the ocean and stand there, so definitely waterproof.

If you're interested I'm sure I can figure out the model name. Pretty sure @Sophiedoodle and I have the same model.
