Can Metacam be bought in the UK without a prescription?

I needed some for Zaba today, he has a bad limp in his right foreleg, he’s holding it up and licking it. We can’t see any grass seeds or thorns. I think he’s sprained it as it came on very suddenly. Luckily I had some left over from one of the pups and it was still in date as I can’t get a vets appointment until tomorrow morning. Zaba’s Mum and vet were happy for me to give it to him to relieve his pain until he can be seen.

I’d like to get a some to ‘have in’ for future such necessities like this with Tatze and Zaba.
