Chalk and cheese

A really thick frost this morning , the lawn is white over and crisp . I let both out for a wee , Reuben performs and then flies round and round, behind the ponds, back up the top , full of glee at the white stuff . Meanwhile , Miss Nelly is not impressed, picking her way so daintily to a suitable spot for a wee , shaking her legs as she goes , back in as quickly as possible , funny little things they are x

Well she does better than Cassie -- she won't even go out in the garden at all Every morning she goes to the door, I open it, she looks out, says "Naah," and goes back to bed to await her breakfast !!

I had left a tennis ball out overnight , this completely foxed Reuben , a solid frozen ball ? He spent ages out there, mauling it until it thawed out

It was just fog here, very, very dismal and cold, no wonderful frost to cheer us up.
