Cold Coat

Would be interested in recommendations for an efficient cold coat for Flicka (who might be now called Georgie!).

This is Red’s cool coat - it’s a Ruffwear one - not cheap but I tried a cheap one last year which was ok for going to Spain. It wasn’t durable whereas this Ruffwear one is well made and works. Very adjustable - I’d kept it loose in this photo as we were just resting in the shady side of the van when we were away. I dunk it in water, squeeze out excess and pop it on her - she seems to like it

Annie and Fred have a Chiller cooling coat each for when it get very hot in France. I am very pleased with them, they have had them years.

Thank you both - decisions! @Atemas, I may change Flicka's name as I never really liked it 100%! Years ago I had a GSP and never liked the name I chose for her, originally Sappho as she was mentioned on the radio as we were going to fetch her, but changed that to Saffy. Years later, I discovered the date she was born was St George's Day, if I had known I would have called her Georgie. So now I can use it with Flicka! My neighbour now calls her "little black dog" as she doesn't think I should change her name.

Well I suppose if she responds to Georgie, then why not? Sky came to us at five months and was called Paige. Not a name either of us was keen on so we called her Sky - there were no issues

I find Dogs' names develop with them.

Georgie is lovely & I'm sure Flicka will answer to both.
