Cut Toe :(

Yesterday when we came back from our walk I noticed Charlie licking his foot. On closer inspection there's a small cut in between his toes. Bathed it in boiled cooled salted water. Last night I could see him paying a little too much attention to it, he then bit off a piece of what looked like the black pad and deposited it on my new rug more bathing, drying and a sock. Looks OK today but watching him like a hawk. Had to be when we are away! xx

Oh no!! Sounds like Charlie is taking care of the problem on his own! Two dogs in our area hurt their pads/ripped nails in the past week. I think it's related to the frozen ground, but no snow cover being hard on them when running.

Thanks all but compared to @Leanne @Ashley and @Beanwood this is nothing. It looks clean so the salt water is helping and he, so far today hasn't bothered with it, two socks down!! xx
