Find of the Day!

GGJ's Find of the Day was a dead goose!
It was a whole, adult, great big Canada Goose, about the same size as her! She had disappeared down some banking to the river while I was giving directions to another walker. By the time I reached her she had enjoyed a really good roll in it and was trying to find a bit to eat, but luckily the feathers seemed to put her off. I have told her that for the rest of today she will be expected to answer to 'Stinky ', rather than Joy. She says ' Yes, awlrite, twas werfit!':laughdog:

Just FYI if anyone wants to know, when we got home after our walk I kept Joy outside while I washed her down with liberal amounts of warm water with cider vinegar in it, then dried her as well as I could with an Aquasorb towel before wrapping her up in her dressing gown. She didn't appear to object to this and hasn't really deserved to be called 'Stinky ' since, ( but I called her it anyway):giggl:
So it seems that warm water and cider vinegar is quite effective in removing the smell of dead goose, should anyone else here find themselves in the same situation, which I think is not altogether unlikely!
