Yesterday I finally got Hunter to his first hydrotherapy session! I actually found one close by to where we live.
The aim is to build up his core and muscle tone and then hopefully we can also build up his leash walks.
It went OK, not fantastic but OK. He was obviously a little "weirded out" by the concept of the tank filling up with water and then coping with a treadmill.
Hopefully it will go better next time. He loved the snacks and the therapist was so kind and gentle with him. She also has a lab so she gets his crazyness.
He did quite a few large splashes at the end(definitely pre-meditated!) but I am sure she is used to it.
I was worried he might be quite stiff this morning ....but no. Full of beans and Ninja moves. He hid my bra and knickers whilst I was having a shower!
No limping in the last few months so we still seem to be on a positive path.
