Today is Joy's fifth birthday! We have always said that dogs count their first four birthdays on their paws, but then they run out so they use their tail, making the fifth birthday their Coming to Tail. After this they stop counting ( although we don't). They still refer to the Coming to Tail though, for example an elderly dog when asked his/ her age by a young pup might say 'Many meals have passed since my Coming to Tail'.
So happy, happy Coming to Tail to the sweetest, funniest (and just now possibly the loudest) little dog in the World, my own GoodGirlJoy. We're going to have a lovely day!xxxxxxx
