Goodbye Mr Silly

I am so sad and sorry to read about Rory, he always seemed such a special dog, I just loved his face and expressions. He had a good and happy life but we are left with heartache when they go.
I was just glad I gave him what he needed when he needed it. He died in the garden with me by his side giving him all the comfort I could. He told me he needed to go and it was a comfort to see his body relaxed and at peace

How are things Sarah
Things are settling down. The boys are getting used to things being so different. It's hard, he's at the back of my head a lot of the time. I'm used to doing everything in 3s not 2s. All foods on work surfaces, tea towels and cushions are now safe but the sausages are running amok because there's no one to count them out and in. He's often on my mind I think about the things I did with him and for him. He's deeply missed by us all but I have no regrets.

He was a lovely lad and you loved him so much Sarah. You have some wonderful memories of the time you were together and the things you did.
You did the right thing for him, I am sorry for your pain
