Here is an excellent resource from the Dogs Trust to help your puppy get used to sounds. I have a CD from Guide Dogs but this is much better. Start on a very low volume and slowly build it up. Keep it playing until the puppy completely relaxes and goes to sleep - any worried reaction and turn it right down low. ??

It’s a good idea to do two sessions a day. One when the pup is sleepy and one while you are doing some training.

This is a great resourc from Dog's Trust and one I recommend frequently. Volume should be barely audible, which of course is an interesting discussion as we all have different sensitivities to sound :(

Our vet always gives each new puppy owner a cd just the same as the above.

My daughter gave me an Amazon Echo for my birthday (after I decided at Christmas I didn't want one) and I've only just set it up. One of its 'skills' is to play ambient sounds and there are lots of those sort of sounds available, including rain, thunder, chimes, etc. I really like the water ones. One that really confuses Ripple is the rainforest, as it sends him rushing round looking for various birds and creatures.
I'm not sure if the fireworks are on there, but it looks like the Echo does have a use after all :D.
