Hunter Knows

As some of you have noticed I have not been quite as visible on our lovely MLF. My Dad has been very unwell and has struggled after my Mum passed away last summer. So I have been preoccupied with all the emotions that go with an ageing parent who will not listen. Today I got the phone call I was dreading. Hunter just knew. I was late getting his dinner ready and normally he would be barking and pushing me into the kitchen. Tonight he just came to me and placed his stupid incredibly beautiful face on my lap. I just love him. He is not a cuddly dog but today he just let me cuddle him and licked my tears away. We really are very lucky that these beautiful souls let us share our lives with them xx
