I’d like to do this course - but there are so many to choose from

I’d love to do some 1-1 to help people with their dogs, I’m often asked.

Which did you do @Joy?

.
Yes as @Beanwood says, I did the 2 day theory, the 4 day practical, and the pre-assessment session. I'm not sure how useful you'd find it @Boogie - I think you'd already know the theory and the four day practical was almost entirely geared to teaching classes. It covered basic dog training skills (loose lead walking, recall etc.) but there was also a lot on class organisation and differentiation - called 'layering' by the IMDT - (which as a former teacher you'll be very at home with). However I did love the atmosphere of learning in an environment where everyone was committed to being force-free.

Yes, and if I want to advertise (in a very small way, I only want to help folk - not make money) I’d need to prove my competence. I’m also a coach for adults with ADHD and ASD, ‘tho I don’t do much any more, but it means I’m used to dealing with adults as well as kids.

🙂:)
