Intermittent night time vomits

Every few weeks/months Chewie will wake up at say 4am, rush out of bed and vomit on the landing. It is almost always just mucous/stomach juices and he is otherwise fine. Usually goes back to sleep while we are still cleaning!

Could it be that he needs a snack before bed? It's worth a try I guess. If anyone has any other thoughts that would be great!

Agree, need a snack. We found it was worse if Vanilla had a long walk/exercise before hand. So we introduced a 'Bed time Biscuit' after each night time walk. of course now both get it and if we forget we get a small 'grunt' and a look towards the pantry...

Mine just have a small treat when they’re let out in the garden before bed and a kong with a bit of peanut butter smeared inside in their beds. That seems enough (except when Wispa eats something she shouldn’t in the garden!).

Snowie used to vomit at 4am. So we made his dinner twice as big as breakfast plus he gets a bedtime snack, which has got progressively earlier! However, since stopping all tick and flea pesticides, he no longer vomits. So, I don’t know if it was nausea from the flea/tick preventives or actual hunger pukes.

Anyway, there’s no undoing these little snacks. He also gets a nib of butter for his pre-bedtime wee at 9pm. We can set our clocks by Snowie’s meal and snack times!
