Out of interest, is she showing any of the signs you read in the report from the previous home?
Hard to say really. She does bark through the window at passers-by, but so does Coco. And now they're egging each other on. Not had anyone actually come in to the house.
We took her to training on Tuesday and she did have a bit of a lunge at a man who came too close, so I gave her a lot of space and everyone kindly kept away from us.
She's done the lip-curling snarl at Coco a few times, usually over a toy, but she did it yesterday when I was preparing their dinner and they were both pressing to get close to me. He's oblivious to it, I called "enough" and that interrupted her and she stopped.
She took a funny dislike to my can-crusher yesterday. I had about 5 or 6 cans to crush, you put them in, one at a time and stand on the thing. By the time I was up to number 4 can she was getting quite mad and nipping at my heel! Don't know what that's all about.
I think the dynamic of our house is so different to what she's had before and it's really working in her favour. In our house, the dogs are at the centre of everything. There are no crates to keep her away from the people.
Major improvement on the bedtime arrangements- she has decided she wants to sleep in the spare bedroom, she made a nest in the blankets that were piled on the bed. So we bought her a new donut-style bed to go in there - result! Back to only having Coco on our bed.
