A photo pops up from the archives every day on my phone as a default from Microsoft Onedrive. This one popped up this morning. 1 year and a bit old!

Hi Fiona,

Thanks but not really met by Nina, although we are baby sitting her for 4 days shortly. I think I may be allowed another Lab as a Golden Wedding present but I'm concerned that my OH may be being too loving and I don't want to impose a Lab puppy on her selfishly. Anyway we'll see. The timing will be better because our anniversary is in July and by the time we find the right dog (assuming pups are around all year around) it will be the shutdown period for work so good for puppy training. Anyway - waiting and seeing!

David , when I was unsure about getting another puppy , someone wise ( @Jacqui-S ) said these words to me , What is meant for you wont run by you . So, if its meant to be it will be and I wish you all the luck in the world x

Yes, wise words. I understand about you not wanting to impose on your wife (what a lovely husband you are!) but also remember that the puppy time is short and will pass, so if you do decide to go that route, don't beat yourself up too much about it. And I'm sure she'll enjoy her fair share of puppy snuggles, too

I've heard so many SBD stories, but have rarely seen her in photo. She was gorgeous. What a great photo, so expressive.
