New workshop program

I thought this might interest some of you. FDSA has just launched their "Pet Professionals Program", which is aimed at providing continuing education for pet professionals. It's not a certification program, but a collection of online workshops scheduled throughout the year with some of the FDSA instructors. The format is, lectures and/or video are published on day 1 (a Sunday), and you have seven days to study and practice, then you send your homework to the instructor for them to review, answer questions, and give feedback on.
Each workshop is US$29.95, so they're pretty economical.

I think I'll sign up for a few along the way; you don't have to be a professional to do so, and I think as long as you have an interest in dog training, behaviour and other related skills, there could be some workshops of interest, but in a format where you don't have to commit to a much longer course if time is limited.

Thanks for posting @snowbunny , I’m really interested in some of these (and starting to recognise some of the names) but I’ve never done any courses online like this before - so thanks for the explanation :)

Do you need to ‘join’ Fenzi first, or does this all come with signing up?

No, once you take a course you are one of the alumni; you create an account when you make your first purchase. The way it works for FDSA courses is that, once the course has finished, it goes into the "library" section of your account, and it stays there for a year OR as long as you take at least one course/workshop/webinar a year, it will remain there indefinitely. The forums for the courses get taken down after about six weeks, but the lectures remain. I assume it will be the same for PPP.
