Seven?!which has seven squeaks
I’ve been watching YouTube tutorials and crochet definitely looks harder work than a puppy! XMaybe I am quite insane to add to the complexities of life and should have taken up crochet !
Not in the slightest bit selfish! I think there's a lot of two-way benefit to puppies (and hounds in general of course, but particularly little dependent puppies) that one doesn't even necessarily recognise until you're in at the deep end. I'm pretty certain I'd have fallen off the edge of this year if we hadn't had a little terror to take me out of myself (due to intensive work/studying waaay beyond expected timescales) and that's not selfish, that's sanityI need an outlet ,an interest and an escape from time to time from playing the carer role , and if that sounds selfish, so be it !
Nope, not selfish, for sure. A young creature builds you into the future, gives you a purpose. Dogs are what you love, no need to change what floats your boat. It's good I think that Reuben is different to Sam, he will present a different perspective mentally. Definitely the outlet and different focus is a positive thing, takes you out of the day to day cares I believe., I need an outlet ,an interest and an escape from time to time from playing the carer role , and if that sounds selfish, so be it ! Nelly is adorable , she really is, but she is his little dog 100% . Maybe I am quite insane to add to the complexities of life and should have taken up crochet ! xx
