Two of the most instantly painful moments in my life have been wasp stings. Trumped by the time I got my big toe trapped in the iron spring of an unfolding sofa bed. No I haven't had children, yes I may be a bit of a wuss, but stings are particularly painful on sensitive areas... I batted the wasp down my top, rather than away from it?
Sounds like you managed really well, poor Pepper. More treats tonight hopefully ?
I was stung all the time as a kid - as kids are prone to. When I was first stung as an adult, it really brought home to me that the howling of a stung child is absolutely justified - it HURTS!
My most painful "then and there" injury was a broken big toe. That same feeling of stubbing your toe (why does it hurt
so much??), but it just doesn't go away! The actual most painful thing I've ever done, but I didn't feel it at the time, was cracking my sternum. Strangely, I scuffed up my hand pretty badly at the same time; it was just superficial but it was bleeding a lot and was such a sharp pain it obviously somehow drew my attention from the fact my breast bone was in bits...
Poor Pepper pup, I hope it feels better soon.
