Poppy Report - First Shoot

Sounds like an thoroughly enjoyable day with Poppy showing she can be relaxed and focussed when you need her to be. :inlove:

I think (and I thought so at the time we first saw her) that she was just a bit too juvenile at the time she failed her test. She was very, very "young puppyish" at 18 months old. In the last 6 months she's matured and steadied a lot and although she is still a juvenile I'm convinced she would have passed her detection dog test now if all that was the problem was a lack of concentration.
It does sound like she is just a bit young doesn't it? Bramble was practically all grown up at 12 weeks old! Her daughter River is completely different, can't concentrate on anything for more than a nano-second!
