Reubens idea of a memory retrieve !

As I cant walk far at the moment , I`m doing lots of retrieving with the lad , he is happy with this but he hasnt ever been very good with memories , blind one he is grand . I started to train memory retrieves , just shortish ones for fine to start . Yesterday I decided to take it one step further and dropped a ball not too far from the start of our walk , we walked on for about 100 yards which is about my maximum , then I sent him back . He ran past the ball and kept running , on and on out of sight round a corner . I hobbled back , to see him standing by the car , bless him he knows I keep a bag of tennis balls in the boot and was looking expectedly at said boot , more work needed young man when my leg can stand the walk
