They do look great!
But Cass had a new collar at Christmas time and as it is only comes out for "best"!
And I am forever losing leads so wouldn't trust myself with one of those !

They are lovely……but I’ll stick with the Ruffwear one Red has. She’s had it for several years and it was Sky’s before hers 
. Every evening I say ‘Let’s get you undressed’ and she stands while I take it off. Then every morning, I say ‘Let’s get you dressed’ and put it on. Funny how these routines start and then just become part of our day. People would think I am nuts if they heard me

I like those fastenings.
I had similar on Lilly's infrequently used Kurgo harness.
They were fiddly to get used to, but recently I've been struggling with the normal clips on Sullys collar and I see the benefits.
My hands have been painful and grip really bad....either triggered or worsened by my DIY exploits

Wait for the sale there's bound to be one soon they do great discounts normally. Dunc just had his first big boy collar he's used the boys ones up until now. There's are large pool of them as you know.

Dunc's collar is very special
Mine are in the water most days whether it's puddles or a river. Everyday at the moment I'm having to wash any dog kit I use daily. It's that muddy and filthy in the low lands. My Dogs are filthy too Rory wallows in mud like a giant hippo x sparrow thing. Dunc likes to swim and snorkel so his stuff is filthy. I've got a collar that every dog I've owned has worn. It's ancient but good. Sometimes I'm taking the dogs out twice a day and their Collars are wet still so I need to have alternatives for them all they don't go out in wet or muddy collars. I like the boys to look perfect when they go out and be comfortable in their equipment. Other than that I've got no excuse for the amount of collars I have, no bl**Dy excuse at all. I'm just nuts.

I haven’t washed Red’s at all - it gets wet so I hang it up to dry. If it’s muddy I just wipe it. As I said she doesn’t wear it at night. If it’s hanging up to dry, she doesn’t wear it during the day. It always looks ok. Maybe that’s the beauty of Ruffwear collars.

)of the ruffwear ones I find the mud gets stuck in the weave so I do wash them. My dogs are mud magnets and Moo was often covered in all kinds of excrement so she'd and her collar would need a wash often. Don't the collars smell if you don't wash them?

She also has an outdoor and an indoor Christmas collar, and her Party Animal collar (inherited from Solstice, who was the world's greatest Party Animal) Oh yes, also a travel harness with a seat belt attachment and a useful handle, particularly good for helping her on and off trains, and getting more use now that she's lost her sight. They all get washed when needed, but this is less often now that she's rather more sedate.

Cass's everyday collar is one of those polo belt ones so I do clean the leather . She only wears it when she goes out or if we do some training or games, I like the look of her without it round her neck and removing it is quite a good "off" switch I find.
Of course, it never gets muddy - God ! No! but it does have to stand up to brambles and bracken etc if the nose takes it! And as such looks a little worse for wear, so now she has a tweed one for "best".
