What a handsome, leggy boy. It's good to see him. I'm sorry he didn't live a long life with you but clearly a very well-lived and loved 10 months xx

He was a rescue. We didn't know how old he was - 10-12 years. His original owner took him to be PTS, alleging he bit her. Vet wouldn't do it. Rehomed with OH's friend, but he didn't get on with one of their pack of waifs & strays so we took him. What a privilege. He died too soon of probable haemangisarcoma. He opened up the world of Labradors to us.

Thank you for sharing Scooby's story with us. What a special 10months he had with you. What a vet though...I have huge respect for a vet who not only says "no" but then takes care and rehomes the dog.

Oh that's so lovely, I didn't realise you had him for such a short time. Not so good for you, but great for him. We lost a dog to hemangiosarcoma, my neighbours then young dog knocked her over, which started internal bleeding. We had to have her putdown 2 days before Christmas, how my daughter cried and cried. Poor little Angel (the dog) was only seven.

What a beauty! He looks so young in that pic! It's always a happy ending when a dog lives out their last days being happy and loved
