Gosh, it's 3 years and a couple of days since our gentle giant lost his battle. We had him for only 10 short months. 10 months of love and fun. Still miss you big Scooby, you great Moddey Dhoo.

What a handsome, leggy boy. It's good to see him. I'm sorry he didn't live a long life with you but clearly a very well-lived and loved 10 months xx

I could get lost in his eyes, his character shines out of his face. I don't know his history, was he only 10 months old or did you rescue him?

He was a rescue. We didn't know how old he was - 10-12 years. His original owner took him to be PTS, alleging he bit her. Vet wouldn't do it. Rehomed with OH's friend, but he didn't get on with one of their pack of waifs & strays so we took him. What a privilege. He died too soon of probable haemangisarcoma. He opened up the world of Labradors to us.

Oh that's so lovely, I didn't realise you had him for such a short time. Not so good for you, but great for him. We lost a dog to hemangiosarcoma, my neighbours then young dog knocked her over, which started internal bleeding. We had to have her putdown 2 days before Christmas, how my daughter cried and cried. Poor little Angel (the dog) was only seven.
