Sea Treats biscuits

I bought some of these to see how they compared to the discontinued Sea Biscuits from Fish4Dogs. I bought two varieties, white fish and potato (Sea Treats Fish-based treats for dogs and cats) and salmon and potato (Sea Treats Fish-based treats for dogs and cats)

The dogs like them. They eat them. But they certainly don't love them like they loved the Sea Biscuits. In a normal environment, they get gobbled up, but on an exciting forest walk, both Squidge and Shadow spat them out.
They're probably worth a try for those of you who are looking for an alternative to the Sea Biscuits, but our search will continue.

I'm really disappointed with Fish4dogs. Not only do they discontinue Sea Biscuits but also the other fishy biscuits I used to buy for Juno :( . I've tried, well Juno has tried :) these https://www.skipperspetproducts.com/white-fish-potato and also these Salmon, White Fish & Potato Biscuits. They are a little large for use in training/on walks. I use them as a reward after our walk. Millie's Wolfheart also do some fishy biscuits Fishy Bites - Fish - Dog Treats and also https://www.millieswolfheart.co.uk/dog-treats/fish/lux-fish-cakes. These are smaller than Skippers.

When I sent them an email asking if they were discontinuing, the agent who responded said, "I'm really sad, too, because my own dog loves them.". SO BRING THEM BACK!!!

The Sea Treats ones are big, too, and take longer to eat than the Sea Biscuits. I always wish they'd done a half-size Sea Biscuit, that would have been perfect. I don't use things like this often, but if I need a larger treat (for example, if I'm throwing it on grass and I don't want the dog to have to stop and sniff) then the Sea Biscuits were a great low-calorie option that didn't crumb.

It is an awful shame , Sam used to love them and after he passed away , I still bought them for Nelly . As they were rather on the big side for her little mouth , I would put some in a polythene bag and bash them with the rolling pin , perfect !

No, the Sea Biscuits were fish and rice. You can still get the Sea Jerky, which is the skin like these. I find my dogs can choke on these a bit, though, so I don't like them for active games.
