Sending flowers

This is completely non dog related but does anyone have any recommendations for sending flowers abroad (from UK to Netherlands).

There are several on google but I'd rather find a business that is recommended instead of just choosing them by their ads. Thanks.

The only one I ever used was Serenata Flowers , their service was good, and the recipient was thrilled with the flowers too x P.S. this was UK to France x

I've used Serenata flowers too, also Clare Florist - both good but it was only within the UK.

I used eflorist to send flowers from Aus to UK. They say Europe delivery so maybe that would work? The price was reasonable and delivery was really quick. My Name loved the flowers and commented how long they lasted. (Same Day Flower Delivery - Send Flowers Online Today!)

My aunty passed away yesterday so it's sympathy flowers I need to send to the funeral home.

So sorry to hear about your Aunty. My mum sent me flowers to Holland via Serenta. They were beautiful and delivered by my local florist! You do have to pay for delivery. I think the fleurop are free delivery but I think the menu is Dutch?

Fleurop is in English but they are the same company as our Interflora, probably the international version. I may use them as they seem to have more choice and the site is easier to use. Serenta look good but only have a limited choice for international deliveries and none that would be suitable for a funeral unfortunately. I emailed them to check and they were very quick and helpful.
Thanks for all your recommendations, I am now just waiting for dates from my cousin.

For goodness sake, all this has been a waste of time.
I heard from my cousin today that the funeral is on Tuesday morning!

She wants me and OH to go, which we can't (dog/work etc.) but a bit more notice might have made all the difference.
I don't even have time to sort out flowers and I have spent all morning ringing the flower companies and emailing and they are either closed today and for the rest of Easter, or it can't be guaranteed that they can make the funeral time if they only get the order on tues am when they re-open after the holiday.

Honestly, in Holland they can't wait to get them in the ground - here it takes at least a few weeks.

I am probably a bit annoyed at my cousin as she could have chosen a later date. Will stop ranting now.
Thanks for all your help, I think I will send her a sympathy bouquet after Tuesday.

So sorry for your stress. The last thing you need I'm sure.
Seems it is almost as bad as Christmas how things shut up over Easter.
I'm sure family flowers will be appreciated xx

It's only a long shot but sometimes the funeral home can arrange flowers? But on Monday everything is closed. Understand your rant completely. I think the sympathy bouquet being sent after Tuesday is a very nice thought. X
