Somerset Rally

We came 3rd in Level 3 - I'm thrilled to bits, especially as it was quite a big class, nearly 30 entries. It also gives Molly her Rally Level 3 Excellent title. In addition I had such a nice time catching up with people I've got to know on the 'circuit' and from the show ground there was a footpath through a field to a stream so Molly had numerous wades during the day.

Does she like it, do you think?
On the whole I think she does. She doesn't always want to do Rally exercises at the time I want her to - which is when she only co-operates because of 'treats-in-the-pot' (I've conditioned a delayed reward). On the other hand at home she often expects some sort of engagement with me, especially in the evenings and nudges me, and is then responsive to the idea of Rally moves without external reward. Today she looked happy - loose body and waggy tail. I think she finds shows very tiring but on the other hand I always find somewhere near the show to take her for a walk, with water if at all possible, and she definitely enjoys all the new smells and exploring and I feel this is a form of relaxation for her.
This afternoon when we were off on a ramble after competing someone walked past in the opposite direction (not a competitor) and said to me, 'That dog keeps looking up at you with such love in her eyes.' It made me feel quite overwhelmed!

Very well done @Joy and supergirl Molly :star:. It's great to share in your progress together and to see your commitment reaping the rewards., and making new friends through these activities is such a bonus.

'That dog keeps looking up at you with such love in her eyes.'
What a great observation and tribute to your relationship with Molly.
