Swimmers tail

Looks like Milo might have swimmers tail
We are currently away in Devon by the sea and Milo has swam a few times today, not as much as Maisie but he’s been in a bit. I noticed he was a bit shivery this afternoon but didn’t think anything of it. Anyway went to put him out for a wee before bed and I noticed he was holding his back end weird and his tail was really limp and couldn’t get him to wag properly. Like it will a little bit but not much and won’t raise up, it’s really obviously not right when you can compare it to Maisies. There is nothing I can obviously do now and I haven’t brought any metacam with me so can’t give him anything so he is comfy on the end of our bed now and il see how he is in the morn.
Anyone elses had it? @Naya hasnt Harley had it before? I feel really bad for him as he seems so unhappy he’s very stiff on his back legs as well may have to leave early tomorrow to give him pain relief if it’s bad rather than make him wait all day.

Give the local vets a ring there will be be emergency cover.

Poor Milo what a shame. They get understandably miserable.
I hope he's a little better this morning.

Poor Milo. Yes, Harley has had it 3 - 4 times. Metacam really helped and rest. We done very short lead only walks for 2-3 days and this helped. A gentle massage on their hips helps too. Hope it goes quickly x

Poor boy. I agree with Swampy contact the local vet or is there a Pets at Home nearby as most of them have onsite vets, I am sure they will help. xx

You could use a warm compress to help improve blood flow to the base of his tail in the meantime, poor Milo!
