Teething gel for pups ?

Wondering if any of you have used it ? Reubens gums are everso sore, he has lost three incisors on the top , with new teeth about to emerge . He is whimpering quite a lot , have given him frozen carrots to chomp on , but the relief only lasts whilst he is chomping ! So , I have ordered some puppy teething gel from Amazon , should be here tomorrow , hoping it gives him a little relief , they are so different aren't they ? My last Lab girl was just the same as Reuben , thoroughly miserable , and yet we never even noticed when Sam lost teeth and got his big boy ones x

I do hope it works for him, teething is so cruel, I always think, for human babies too.

I have never used the gel, I didn't know about it actually, but it sounds like a good idea. When Cassie was small I gave her ice cubes, it was summer time! She used to play with them for quite a while before they melted. Might be why she loves to break the ice on any puddle she comes across as an adult. That is, if we ever have any frost!

I haven’t used it, let us know how you get on? Kipper did suffer a bit with teething, I was quite Heath-Robinson with frozen wet towels and flannels, frozen carrots, ice frozen in yoghurt pots etc. good luck, it’s miserable for the poor little monkeys (and furniture takes a bashing) x

Toffee didn’t seem to suffer very much at all, he does have an Anco root to save the wear and tear on the furniture though. With Ripple I used frozen tea towels and ice cubes, he’s not a fan of carrots.
Didn’t know you could buy teething gel for puppies, I do remember using something similar for my girls as babies.
